Non-compliance with regulations or instructions always carries the penalty of exclusion. The race judges when aware of breaches of regulations, record them and inform the offenders.         In the race TeRA<\/b> two meals are offered (before and after the race), while in Zagori Classic Race 33km<\/b> one meal, the day before the race. 
        The Plus pack provides all of the above with the addition of an official t-shirt and a commemorative gift of the race.<\/div>

              C) Transportation of athletes who drop out or are disqualified<\/strong><\/p>\n

              All athletes who leave or get disqualified from the race (due to time limits), can be transported to the finish area for free by bus. These athletes will be picked up from Moni Stomiou (09:45)<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

              Their transportation will take place only after the race\u2019s checker<\/strong> has passed from the elimination point.<\/p>\n

              In any other case, the Organization Committee is not responsible for the transportation of athletes who leave the race, however it will make the best effort to serve them.<\/p>\n

              Expenses related to transferring an injured athlete will not be covered if the injury was caused by the athlete\u2019s negligence.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

              The TeRA race has a time limit for disqualification (with one intermediate cut-off point at the Monastery of Stomiou). See details here<\/a>.<\/p>

              The disqualification limit is common for all categories of athletes, regardless of gender and age. After the specified time elapses, the checkpoints continue to record the athletes but as overdue, and athletes arriving there are obliged to surrender their number.<\/p>

              Athletes who wish to can continue the route outside of the competition and at their own risk, provided that they have first surrendered their number and signed a disclaimer releasing the Organizer from any liability for anything that may happen to them from that point onwards.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

              \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tEach athlete is obliged to have their race number (bib) on them, on the front of their shirt<\/strong>. The number must remain throughout the race unfolded, so that the logos and data on it should be visible. Substantial alteration of the Bib, which may be confusing to the Station officials, will be punished by exclusion. Loss of the Bib will also be punished by exclusion. Participants can only get their BIB themselves, using their Passport or ID card. A third party legally authorized can receive the BIB.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

              \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
              \n\n\t\t\t\t\t\tIMPORTANT<\/span>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\tAfter completing the registration process, each athlete will get a confirmation email with the Participation Certificate attached in PDF form. On the certificate, the following are indicated:\r\n\r\na. The athlete\u2019s full name<\/strong>\r\nb. The race they have chosen<\/strong>\r\nc. Their BiB number<\/strong>. On the date of the race, each athlete must have this certificate in hand (printed or in digital form, along with his\/her credentials (ID, Passport, etc) in order to receive their BiB tag and tracking chip.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

              \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExternal assistance is allowed to athletes from people who are present at the Refreshment Stations.\r\n\r\nAnyone may escort the athletes even without a Bib number, on the condition they do not provide any kind of assistance or stand in the way of other athletes.               \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAll athletes are requested to mark their bib number on every food package (energy gels, nutrition bars, etc) they carry with them. The ZMR Committee will proceed to random sample tests on athletes, in order to guarantee that all athletes adhere to the above regulation. In case an empty food package is thrown by an athlete during the race, the ZMR Committee has the right to disqualify them from the present ZMR and any other future event. For your information this rule will be strictly and firmly applied.               \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAthletes are required to move along the path without forming groups by preventing athletes who would like to overtake. Athletes are requested to stand aside and should remain on the uphill (inner) side of the slope. Athletes who (according to at least 3 official testimonies) block the path and prevent overtaking will be excluded.               The ZMR provides special catering for the athletes, supporting them in many intermediate points of the route.               \n\n\t\t\t\t\t\tIMPORTANT<\/span>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\tIn the event of an accident or serious problem, which will cause an alarm to the competent rescue teams, the Organizing Committe will simultaneously check the mandatory equipment of the athlete. If it is found that the athlete in question has put himself in danger through his own fault (due to insufficient equipment), then as a penalty he will be disqualified from the competition and disqualified from the next year's Event.\r\n\r\nAs cases of gross negligence, the following can be considered:\r\n

              • injury from falling in the dark due to lack of a flashlight<\/li>\r\n \t
              • hypothermia due to lack of appropriate clothing<\/li>\r\n \t

Each participant has the responsibility and obligation to pay attention to the warning signs in certain parts of the area. In the alpine part, alternative paths and turns are allowed to help the runners, in order to avoid damaged trail routes that might carry risks or lead nowhere.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

BIB numbers should be visible by the judges, so that they can record them. If an athlete wears a windproof jacket on top of the Bib, they should remove it when reaching the Check Point. Refusal of Bib demonstration equals to disqualification.                 \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe Race Commission undertakes the responsibility to supervise race route for safety reasons, to provide medical care and help to athletes who might be in need. In cases where security personnel and Admin Staff indicate a change of direction for safety reasons, athletes are obliged to obey. Refusal to comply will result in disqualification. At the Main Support Station specialized medical personnel will provide the appropriate treatment to the athletes.                   • They are aware of the risks that might occur in a demanding mountainous race<\/li>\r\n \t
                  • They confirm that they are healthy and fit to take part in the race, having been recently examined by a doctor. Athletes are obliged to go through regular medical screening and physical examination. Therefore, medical certificates will be required. The ZMR Committee bears no responsibility for the injury of athletes who choose to ignore the warnings in certain parts of the route, running the risk of falling with unpleasant or fatal outcome.
